DANM!!!! I remember this, this was back when I was angry as fudge, my aunt who I never knew died, this one girl I liked had was in love & danced for some douchebag guy who wears 'OBEY' shirts & I was getting yelled at by teachers for no reason so I drew some crazy stuff. I lost the pages to that family friendly comic book but I remember it like it was yesterday, (I accidently left those pages in a backpack I gave to charity). The grim tale begins as I introduce a young boy ( it's set up in first person without showing the face of the boy) who clearly falls for this girl named Annaih & the beginning of the story is played like a cheesey Teen romance manga. Cut to some time later & we see the same girl & her friend at the mall as she waits for her 'Boyfriend'. My intent was to distract the reader by making them think if the boy she's waiting for the same boy in the beggining of the story who was deeply in love with her, It's not. I show these two making out like dinosaurs (By making close up of tounges touching eachother & gross stuff like that) then I introduce the real character to steal the spotlight which is 'The Counte' who is a very classy man who wears a masqarade, wears a suit under the robe & is the center of attention at the mall as we learn that The Counte is an adopted son of the king (Sort of modern day medival setup). Then he invites Annaih, her friend & her lover to dinner in a rigged raffle. Still awake? Keep on reading, it going to get crazy bus up in here. So then The Count has dinner with Annaih, her friend & her lover at a weird, distorted mansion where couches are on the ceiling, there's a room for just water & there are clocks everywhere & this is where (SPOILER ALERT!) we find out the counte is the boy who loved him before Annaih's new lover (he's the boy in the beginning of the book). He takes off his make & we see his face burned to where he has synthetic hair & half his face has clear skin to where we can see all his moving muscles on his face. I also put in some dialouge to where he talks about how he became the 'Freak' he is now since his parents are lawyers & this small explanation of how they got into trouble with the mob which led to his parents being blown up in their home while The Counte survived with a burned face & suffered hatred from both the school & the girl he loved. Then I conclude the flashback by saying that after he was in a coma, he was adopted by the king to be his son. To complete his revenge, he rigged the game so he can invite Annaih, her friend & her lover to dinner where he spiked their food & tied them up in a basement. Later as they gain consciousness, we see Annaih & her friend tied up & her lover dead with a peice of underwear hanging from his mouth along with saliva & black liquid. This is where it get's insane, The Count puts on Annaih's lover's glasses & starts asking "AM I SEXY LIKE YOUR DEAD LOVER!!!!!" Pretty insane, right? Now he feels like a master & me being the crazy bastard at the time, I poured my own soul into this character & I felt like I became him when I was writing & drawing. Then as a challenge,The Counte proposed to play a game involving a block of ice & salt. Whoever screamed first when the ice burned their skin on their hand lost & faced punnishment but if The Counte won, he was to set both of them free without hesitation. So throughout this game, the counte, annaih & her friend suffered through the burns of ice & salt until Annaih lost & she was taken into a room near in the basement. This is where I wanted subtley, I didn't want to show what was happening in the room but wanted the reader to hear how violent The Counte was killing or punnishing her by putting in peices of dialogue like "Hold still so I can make an incision!!!!!" or "DON'T LOOK AT ME!!!!!" While this happens, Annaih's friend who's still in the basement is trying to escape by making the rope around both her arm & chair legs loose. She manages to escape until The Counte exits the room full of blood dripping from his mouth & knocks her out unconscious. All is black until I transition to The Count & his weirdo cronies carrying bags into a car to dump the bodies of Annaih & her friend into a ditch somewhere until a car with mobsters shoot both The Count & his cronies in a rain of fire.
